Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has published fresh data on the country’s highest-paying jobs and the most in-demand professions, based on November listings from the Enbek.kz employment platform.
According to the ministry, employers offered the highest monthly salaries for the following positions:
- Chief construction engineer – from 640,000 tenge
- Production site manager – from 595,000 tenge
- Air traffic controller – from 568,000 tenge
At the same time, applicants looking for top-tier roles reported significantly higher salary expectations.
The highest average demands came from:
- Pilots – around 1.9 million tenge
- Heads of IT departments in commercial firms – about 1.2 million tenge
- Chief geologists – about 1.2 million tenge
Most in-demand jobs
In November, the labour market showed high demand for:
- Nurses – 1,900 vacancies
- Orderlies – 1,800
- Kindergarten teachers – 1,500
- Drivers – 1,500
Labour market trends
Employers posted 101,100 vacancies on Enbek.kz in November — 23% fewer than in October. About 73% of openings were for skilled specialists.
Job seekers submitted 101,300 résumés, an 11% decline from the previous month. The ministry attributed the slowdown to seasonal factors.
Regions with the most openings
The highest number of vacancies was recorded in:
- Turkestan region – 11,100
- Astana – 9,300
- Almaty – 7,200
Together, they accounted for more than a quarter of all job ads posted in November.
