Kazakhstan’s GDP in the Q1 2011 grew by 6.5%

Kazakhstan’s GDP in the Q1 2011 grew by 6.5%, Serik Smailov, Head of the State Agency for Statistics, told during an on-line conference Bnews.kz. According to him, industrial production output grew 6%, reaching $ 25 billion. Gross agricultural produce grew 1.8%, reaching $ 1.19 billion. Capital investments for the period grew 7.4%, making up $ 4.7 billion.
