Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has issued a statement regarding the situation in the Middle East.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expressed deep concern over the escalating tension in the Middle East region.

"We call on all parties involved to exercise restraint and refrain from using forceful methods to avoid civilian casualties and further deterioration of the situation, which could provoke a full-scale war in the region. In this regard, we emphasize the importance of taking swift measures to resolve differences exclusively through political and diplomatic means in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter and international law," stated the official representative of the ministry, Aybek Smadiyarov.

According to Smadiyarov, Kazakhstan reaffirms its unwavering support for the initiatives of the international community aimed at stabilizing the situation and ensuring regional security.

Recall that on the evening of October 1, Iran launched several hundred ballistic and cruise missiles at Israel. According to the Jerusalem Post, there were about 500. ABC News reported is expected to launch 240 to 250 missiles in two waves. An air alert sounded across the country.
