Tengrinews.kz — Kazakhstanis will be able to obtain a new passport more quickly while abroad. The relevant amendments have been drafted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the draft resolution of the Foreign Ministry, the processing time for the public service “Acceptance of documents and forwarding them for the issuance of passports to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan residing abroad” will be reduced from 90 to 40 days.

Editorial amendments are also being introduced to remove outdated norms and references, including in connection with changes to the law on public and socially significant services and the Digital Code,” the document says.
