Kazakhstan transferred $25 thousand to the Libya Support Fund, Tengrinews.kz reports citing an official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Affairs Ministry. As per Askar Abdrakhmanov, Kazakhstan made a donation to the UN-based fund to help solve humanitarian problems caused by the political crisis in Libya. The funds are intended for special programs, such as safe relocation and evacuation of relocated population, support of humanitarian organizations in the area. As per the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Kazakhstan supports international efforts to ease tensions and overcome humanitarian crisis in Libya.
