Kazakhstan to help Japan with food and money

Kazakhstan will help Japan with canned food and $1 million, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Bozhko. Astana will send 33 thousand cans of food and one million dollars as a financial aid, he said. “We will be sending food by planes. The money will be transferred tomorrow. The whole process will take 2-3 days,” said Vladimir Bozhko. This kind of aid was selected by Japan, noted the minister. Astana offered a few options and Tokyo opted for food and money.
