Kazakhstan to be shrouded in fog: storm warning issued in 17 regions

Tengrinews.kz – On the first day of winter, December 1, dense fog will descend over almost all of Kazakhstan, meteorologists warned, according to Kazhydromet.

Astana — fog expected.

Aktobe Region — fog expected at night and in the morning in the north and east of the region.

Mangystau Region — fog expected in the north and center of the region.

Zhetysu Region — fog expected at night and in the morning in the central part of the region. Taldykorgan — fog expected at night and in the morning.

Abai Region — snow and blowing snow expected in the north; fog expected in the south and east.

East Kazakhstan Region — fog expected in the north, south, and east.

Kostanay Region — fog expected in the north, west, and south. Kostanay — fog expected.

Atyrau Region — fog expected at night and in the morning in the north and west.

Almaty Region — fog expected at night and in the morning in the west and south.

Turkestan Region — fog expected in the west, south, and mountain areas. Turkestan — fog expected at night and in the morning.

Zhambyl Region — fog expected at times. Northeast wind during the day on December 1, and throughout December 2 in the northeast and mountain areas, 15–20 m/s. Taraz — fog expected at times.

Akmola Region — ice and fog expected in the north and east.

Pavlodar Region — ice expected during the day in the north and east. Fog expected at night in the north and east. Pavlodar — fog expected at night.

North Kazakhstan Region — ice expected in the north and east. Fog expected in the west.
