Kazakhstan plans to boost oil production to 102 million tons by 2016

Kazakhstan plans to boost oil production to 102 million tons by 2016. The figure was specified in the 2012 – 2014 draft budget presentation at the Majilis (lower chamber) September 12. Earlier the Oil and Gas Ministry reported that estimated oil production output in 2011 will make up 81 million tons, growing to 83 million tons in 2012-2013, to 85 million tons in 2014 and to 95 million tons by 2015. The 2010 oil production output totaled 80 million tons, 4.2% up against 2009. According to the stats, crude and condensed gas production output for the first 7 months totaled 46.6 million tons.
