Kazakhstan only second to Moldova in CIS in terms of H1 2011 freights transportation growth

Kazakhstan is second only to Moldova in the CIS in terms of freights transportation growth in the H1 2011, Bnews.kz reports, citing the CIS Interstate Committee for Statistics. In the H1 2011 Moldova saw 26.6% growth of its freights transportation as compared to the same period of 2010, the highest growth in the CIS. With its 19.9%, Kazakhstan comes second, followed by Belarus (12.7%), Ukraine (11.4%), Tajikistan (10.4%), Azerbajan (7.7%), Kyrgyzstan (6.5%) and Russia (5.9%). H1 2011 growth of freights transportation in the entire CIS as compared to the like period of 2010 stands at 11.5%.
