Tengrinews.kz - TasteAtlas has released its updated list of the top 100 cuisines in the world, and Kazakhstan has once again made the cut.
The top 10 cuisines this year are: Greece, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Indonesia, France, Japan, and China.
Kazakhstan ranked 94th this year, with an average score of 3.9 out of 5 stars. Last year, the country was in 90th place with a score of 3.91.

According to TasteAtlas, the most popular Kazakh dishes include lagman (4.4), shuzhuk (4.3), samsa (4.1), baursaks (4.0), and beshbarmak (3.8). The list also features kazy, zhaya, and karta, which are marked as "must-try" in their gastronomic guide.
Among the most iconic Kazakh products are kurt (3.4) and sary mai.
