Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan has appointed new ambassadors to Sri Lanka and Denmark.

By presidential decree, Sergey Viktorov has been named Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Olzhas Suleimenov, Kazakhstan's current Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, has been concurrently appointed as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also appointed a new ambassador to Mongolia.

Earlier, Tokayev received the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors from seven countries during a formal ceremony held in Astana.
