Kazakhstan announces starting lineup for qualifier against Wales

Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan’s national football team has confirmed its starting lineup for the World Cup qualifying match against Wales, to be held on September 4 at Astana Arena. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. local time.

Kazakhstan’s starting XI: Anarbekov, Maly, Alip, Kaiyrov, Kasym, Orazov, Samorodov, Vorogovskiy, Kenzhebek, Satpayev, Kasabulat.

The two sides last met on March 23 in Cardiff. That match ended 3:1 in favor of Wales, despite Kazakhstan holding them 1:1 in the first half.

Earlier, Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports explained who will receive free invitations to the upcoming Champions League match between Almaty’s Kairat and Spain’s Real Madrid.
