Tengrinews.kz – First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom PJSC Alexey Miller held a working meeting on Wednesday, October 8, during which they signed a memorandum on the implementation of a project to build a new gas pipeline connecting Russia and Kazakhstan, according to Gazprom’s press service.

Tengrinews.kz – First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom PJSC Alexey Miller held a working meeting on Wednesday, October 8, during which they signed a memorandum on the implementation of a project to build a new gas pipeline connecting Russia and Kazakhstan, according to Gazprom’s press service.

“A memorandum has been signed on the implementation of a project for the construction of a new main gas pipeline from Russia to Kazakhstan,” the statement said.

In addition, the parties signed an agreement outlining the key terms of long-term processing of Kazakh gas in Russia.

“The document formalizes agreements on cooperation in processing gas from the Karachaganak field at the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant, which will undergo modernization,” Gazprom’s press service reported.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized their commitment to long-term cooperation, taking into account Kazakhstan’s growing demand for natural gas.
