It is noted that on December 18, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. The President of Kazakhstan said that the visit is a truly important milestone in Kazakhstan–Japan relations, and that Kazakhstan has always regarded Japan as a time-tested and reliable partner in Asia.
The Prime Minister of Japan expressed confidence that the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan would give new impetus to mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The total value of the commercial agreements planned to be signed during Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s official visit to Japan will exceed $3.7 billion. This was previously reported by Presidential Adviser and Press Secretary Ruslan Zheldibay on his Telegram channel.
It was also noted that in Tokyo, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will meet with representatives of major Japanese businesses. In total, more than 40 documents are planned to be signed.
