Kazakh woman vanishes under mysterious circumstances in Poland

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh citizen Yekaterina Shilova has gone missing under mysterious circumstances in Poland. The woman was supposed to fly from Warsaw to Astana but never boarded the plane, according to KTK.

The Kazakh woman has not contacted her family for more than a week. Her sister wrote on Facebook that Yekaterina had been working abroad for some time and was already on her way back home.

It is known that she had money with her. However, before the scheduled flight, the 43-year-old Kazakh citizen wrote to her sister that she had changed her mind because she had been offered a good job in Germany. She promised to share more details later – after she was free. This message seemed strange to her relatives. Their concerns were confirmed when it became clear that Yekaterina had disappeared.

Kazakh diplomats have already joined the search.

“The consular section in Warsaw has sent an official note to the competent authorities of the host country. The Warsaw Police Headquarters confirmed receipt of the information, and the case has been transferred to the search department. All necessary consular assistance is being provided. This matter is under the control of the ministry,” the Kazakh Foreign Ministry stated.
