Kazakh national wanted for murder was detained at Baku airport

Tengrinews.kz - At the request of Interpol Kazakhstan, a 25-year-old Kazakh national, wanted internationally for murder, was detained at Baku International Airport, according to Polisia.kz.

The suspect allegedly inflicted fatal injuries on the victim in an attempt to steal money. Following the crime, he transported the body to the Ili district of the Almaty region before fleeing the country.

The detainee is currently being held in custody.

Previously, a fugitive drug dealer on the international wanted list from Russia was detained in Almaty.
