Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced plans to establish Kazakh-French schools in Astana and Almaty, as reported by the Akorda press service.

During his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Tokayev highlighted strengthening educational ties between top universities in science and technology.

“Kazakh-French schools will be built in Astana and Almaty. The relevant agreements were signed today. These schools will offer our youth education that meets the highest standards. Kazakhstan is ready to deepen relations with French universities and research centers,” he said.

Tokayev and Macron also discussed key regional and global issues, emphasizing the need for peaceful, diplomatic solutions. The presidents agreed to collaborate on an international level, with a focus on the upcoming One Water Summit, initiated by both countries.
