During his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Tokayev highlighted strengthening educational ties between top universities in science and technology.
“Kazakh-French schools will be built in Astana and Almaty. The relevant agreements were signed today. These schools will offer our youth education that meets the highest standards. Kazakhstan is ready to deepen relations with French universities and research centers,” he said.
Tokayev and Macron also discussed key regional and global issues, emphasizing the need for peaceful, diplomatic solutions. The presidents agreed to collaborate on an international level, with a focus on the upcoming One Water Summit, initiated by both countries. This forum aims to promote cooperation on climate change and green economy initiatives.
“This visit demonstrates that Kazakhstan-France relations have taken on a strategic dimension. I am confident our efforts will elevate our partnership to a new level of mutual benefit,” stated Tokayev.
