Tengrinews.kz - Former KVN star, director, and entertainer Nurtas Adambay will appear before the court in Astana.
Adambay is charged with violating the requirements for the construction of religious buildings and their conversion under Article 490 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
The case materials indicate a violation of the requirements for the import, manufacture, production, publication and distribution of religious literature and materials, as well as religious items.
The following fines are provided for the above offences: for individuals - 184,600 tenge (388.87 USD), for legal entities - 738,400 tenge (1,555.49 USD) in 2024.
The hearing of the case is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 1 August, via mobile video-conference via WhatsApp messenger.
However, the court recently announced that the hearing of Nurtas Adambayev's case has been postponed indefinitely.
"The hearing did not take place," the court’s press service reported, without specifying the reason.
