Japan intends to get uranium from Kazakhstan

Japan plans to get uranium supplies from Kazakhstan. This was announced by Yuzo Harada, Ambassador of Japan to Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. “There have not been any uranium supplies from Kazakhstan to Japan so far. But we hope that in accordance with our agreements, these supplies will take place”, Yuzo Harada said answering questions from journalists. Japanese authorities launched an urgent attempt to avert a nuclear disaster at Fukushima Dai-ichi by air. The situation at Fukushima Dai-ichi grows more dire as three reactors have been rocked by explosions. 20-km exclusion zone has been announced.
