Tengrinews.kz – Ilham Aliyev has invited President Tokayev to Azerbaijan, according to Akorda.
According to official reports, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, will visit Azerbaijan on October 6–7 to participate in the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
As a reminder, in November 2024, President Tokayev paid a working visit to Baku to attend the COP 29 World Climate Action Summit, held under the auspices of the UN Climate Change Conference.
In August of this year, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan, during which he congratulated Ilham Aliyev on signing the historic declaration on the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Earlier, it was noted that President Tokayev considers the peace agreement signed in Washington between Azerbaijan and Armenia to be a historic achievement.
