Heavy rains, heat up to +46°C: Kazakhstan's weather to change dramatically

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for July 5, 6, and 7.

Heavy rains are coming

Due to the passage of atmospheric frontal systems, most of Kazakhstan is expected to experience rain with thunderstorms. On July 5, heavy rains will hit the north; on July 5–6, the east of Kazakhstan will see heavy rainfall, hail, and squalls. Only the southern regions of the country will retain dry weather. Strong winds and dust storms are expected in the south.

What about the temperature?

On July 5, extremely hot weather is expected in the east of the country — daytime temperatures will reach 40–42°C, in the south — 45–46°C, and in the southeast — 40–45°C. No significant changes in temperature are expected in other regions.
