Much of Kazakhstan will experience rain and thunderstorms due to passing atmospheric fronts. Heavy rainfall, hail, and squalls are expected in the north and east. In contrast, the south and southwest — and parts of the west on July 12 — will remain hot and sunny under a high-pressure system. Strong winds are expected across the country.

Temperatures across regions

• West: Daytime highs of 35–39°C, with some areas reaching 40–42°C
• Southwest (July 12–13): Extreme heat of 39–44°C; on July 14, temperatures between 38–42°C
• North: Slight cooling, with daytime highs dropping from 17–25°C to 15–23°C
• East: Generally 22–30°C
• South: Intense heat reaching 40–43°C
• Southeast: Temperatures between 35–38°C
