Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the advisory weather forecast for July 2025 in Kazakhstan.
July 2025 in Kazakhstan will be marked by unstable weather. Most regions are expected to see rain, including heavy showers, along with thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds.
In the south of the country, intense and extreme heat is forecasted. In some areas, dust storms are possible. The fire hazard level remains critical in these regions.
Regional outlook
Western Kazakhstan: In early July, due to a slow-moving cyclone, daytime temperatures in the West Kazakhstan Region will range between +18°C and +26°C, increasing to +28…+33°C by the end of the first ten days.
Atyrau and Mangystau Regions: Gradual warming is expected. Daytime temperatures will rise from +25…+33°C to +30…+38°C.
Northern and Central Regions: Hot weather at the beginning of the month will give way to cooler conditions. Daytime temperatures will initially rise to +25…+35°C, but may drop later to +18…+23°C.
Eastern Kazakhstan: The heat will peak in the middle of the first ten-day period. Daytime temperatures will reach +30…+38°C.
Extreme heat in the south and southeast
From July 1 to 5, nighttime temperatures in the south and southeast will rise from +15…+22°C to +25…+30°C. Daytime temperatures will reach +30…+39°C, and on some days soar to +40…+46°C. A slight cooling is only expected at the end of the first ten-day period.
Second and third ten-day periods of July
In the second and third ten-day periods of July, the hottest days in the west, south, southeast, and central regions may see temperatures rise to +33…+42°C, and up to +46°C in the far south. On cooler days, daytime temperatures will drop to +23…+28°C.
In the north and east, nighttime temperatures will range from +15…+23°C down to +7…+12°C, while daytime highs will reach +32…+39°C, occasionally dropping to +18…+23°C.
