Heat up to +30°C and rain with thunderstorms to hit Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have released the weather forecast for March 28, 29, and 30.

Warm spring weather

According to the forecast, truly warm spring weather with no precipitation is expected across most of Kazakhstan.

“Only in the west, and on some days in the mountainous areas of the southern regions, rain with thunderstorms is expected due to the passage of atmospheric fronts,” the forecasters said.

Across the country, stronger winds are expected, with dust storms in the south. Fog is also forecast at night and in the early morning in the north, east, and central regions.

What about temperatures?

Daytime air temperatures will rise:

• in the west to 18–27°C;
• in the north to 10–17°C;
• in central Kazakhstan to 15–25°C;
• in the east to 12–20°C;
• in the south to 23–30°C.

At the same time, according to meteorologists, southwestern Kazakhstan is expected to see a slight drop in daytime temperatures to 13–20°C.
