Heat, squalls, hail: storm warnings issued for almost all of Kazakhstan

Aktobe Region – Thunderstorms expected in the west, north, and center. Heat up to 38°C in the south. High to extreme fire danger in various parts.

Ulytau Region – Hot weather with up to 39°C in the south. High and extreme fire danger.

Karaganda Region – Up to 35°C in the south. High to extreme fire danger in most areas.

Turkestan Region – 40°C expected in the west and desert zones. Extreme fire danger in Turkestan city.

Almaty Region – Thunderstorms expected in mountainous areas and south.

Kostanay Region – Thunderstorms and hail in the north and east. Heat up to 35°C in the south. High and extreme fire danger.

Akmola Region – Thunderstorms and strong wind gusts in the west and north. High fire danger.

Kyzylorda Region – 40°C heat and extreme fire danger expected.

Abai Region – Thunderstorms and hail in the east, center, and south. 38°C in the south. High to extreme fire danger.

East Kazakhstan Region – Thunderstorms and hail in many parts; 35°C heat in the south.

Zhambyl Region – Thunderstorms in the mountains, 38°C heat overall. Extreme fire danger across the region.

North Kazakhstan Region – Heavy rain, hail, and squalls in the north and east. Wind gusts up to 25 m/s. Thunderstorms in Petropavlovsk.
