Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet forecasters have made a forecast of what the weather will be like in Kazakhstan on March 1, 2 and 3.
During the weekend, with the influence of a cyclone on the western regions and the passage of atmospheric fronts, snow with ground blizzards is expected in most of Kazakhstan, in the south and southeast of the country there will be precipitation in the form of rain and snow.
Heavy snow is forecast for March 2 in the northwest of the republic, heavy precipitation is expected on March 2-3 in the south, on March 3 in the southeast of the country. Fog, ice, and gusty winds are also expected in the republic.
"The air temperature at night in the west, northwest, north is expected to be -8...-23 degrees, in the east, in the center -10...-26 degrees, in the south -2...-15 degrees, in the southeast -3...-10 degrees, in the mountainous regions -12...-20 degrees," the report says.
In addition, on February 28, Kazhydromet has issued an air pollution warning for residents of Astana, Shymkent, and several other cities across Kazakhstan.
