Tengrinews.kz - Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo expressed gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome, according to a statement from Akorda.
"My visit to your country today is an expression of our common desire to strengthen friendly ties and cooperation between Bissau and Astana," Umaro Sissoco Embalo noted.
The President of Guinea-Bissau emphasized that our countries successfully interact within the framework of multilateral structures. He supported the position of the Head of our state on reforming the UN and other international organizations.
The parties considered a wide range of cooperation issues in such promising areas as agriculture, transport and logistics, mining and metallurgical complex, finance, digitalization, and telecommunications technologies, the press service of Akorda noted.
Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the President of Guinea-Bissau at Akorda.
