Unstable weather in Kazakhstan
According to the forecast, unstable weather caused by atmospheric frontal systems will persist over the next three days.
"Rain with thunderstorms, fog, and strong winds are expected. Heavy rains are forecast in the west, northwest, north, central, and eastern regions. In the east, heavy precipitation — including rain and snow — is expected during the night," meteorologists said.
Temperature forecast across Kazakhstan
- In western regions, nighttime temperatures are expected to drop from 5–13°C to 1–9°C, while daytime temperatures will decrease from 15–25°C to 10–20°C.
- In the north and central parts of the country, nighttime temperatures will range between 0–8°C and 2–12°C. During the day, temperatures are expected to rise from 10–20°C to 17–25°C.
- In the east, nighttime temperatures will slightly drop from -2–7°C to -5–5°C. Daytime temperatures will gradually rise from 13–21°C to 17–25°C.
- In the south, nighttime temperatures will range between 10–15°C, while daytime temperatures are expected to rise from 20–28°C to 23–32°C.
- In the southeast, nighttime temperatures will drop slightly from 5–12°C, with mountainous areas seeing lows from -3–2°C to 3–8°C. In higher elevations, temperatures could fall to between 0 and -5°C. Daytime temperatures will range from 15–25°C to 12–20°C.
Earlier, forecasters shared the weather forecast for Astana and Almaty for the next three days.
