From heat to downpours: weather forecast for Kazakhstan over the next three days

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for August 9, 10, and 11.

Unstable weather across Kazakhstan

In the coming three days, due to the passage of atmospheric frontal systems, most of Kazakhstan will experience unstable weather — rain and thunderstorms are expected. Heavy rains are forecast in the northwest, east, and central parts of the country, possibly accompanied by hail.

Only the southern and southeastern regions of Kazakhstan are expected to have hot and dry weather. Wind intensification is expected across the country. In the northwest, north, center, and east, fog is likely during the night and morning hours.

Temperature outlook

Southern regions will continue to experience intense heat with temperatures reaching +36…+41°C, and +32…+39°C in the southeast. In western Kazakhstan, a drop in temperature is expected: nighttime lows of +12…+23°C and daytime highs of +25…+37°C. In the rest of the country, temperatures will gradually rise.
