Tengrinews.kz - Rescuers helped four tourists descend from a mountain after getting lost in Bayanaul National Park in the Pavlodar region, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The four tourists were unable to find their way in the dark near Lake Zhasybai in the Bayanaul National Park and called for help.

“They climbed to the summit during daylight hours but misjudged the time, and the descent became impossible after nightfall. They then contacted rescuers, who immediately dispatched a team from the Pavlodar regional emergency response unit,” the ministry said.

The search was carried out in a remote mountainous area using specialized equipment and lighting gear.

“Thanks to coordinated and professional efforts, all four individuals were safely brought down from the mountain. None of them required medical assistance,” the ministry noted.

Earlier, rescuers also assisted a woman who became disoriented and was unable to descend from Mount Kokshetau in the Akmola region.
