Tengrinews.kz – Police have detained a 43-year-old man who was internationally wanted through Interpol in Astana, according to Polisia.kz.

Tengrinews.kz – Police have detained a 43-year-old man who was internationally wanted through Interpol in Astana, according to Polisia.kz.

According to the capital's criminal police department, the wanted individual turned out to be a foreign national. He was placed on the wanted list by Armenian law enforcement on suspicion of committing a criminal offense — driving a vehicle without documents and a driver's license.

The man was detained and taken to the police station for identification and necessary checks. It was revealed that he had been listed in the international wanted database since May 2023.

The Armenian side that initiated the search has been notified of the arrest.
