From February 4 to 6, Almaty will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Fog is expected at night and in the morning, with icy conditions on the roads. Eastern winds will blow at 2–7m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -9 to -11°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 0 and -2°C.

Forecasters also clarified the weather forecast for winter 2024/2025 in Kazakhstan. It is noted that in general, the winter temperature regime is expected to be within the climatic norm with precipitation exceeding the long-term norm. However, periods with cessation of precipitation and abnormally low air temperatures are not excluded.
