Fog, icy conditions, and precipitation: storm warning issued in 14 regions

Tengrinews.kz – On November 7, most of Kazakhstan will see cloudy weather, with expected precipitation, icy conditions, and fog, according to Kazhydromet.

Astana – icy conditions expected. Southwesterly wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s.

Almaty – fog expected at night and in the morning.

Shymkent – fog expected at night and in the morning.

Zhetysu Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the mountainous areas. Northeastern wind; in the Alakol lake area, gusts of 15–20 m/s.

Almaty Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the north, south, and mountainous areas. In Konaev, fog is expected at night and in the morning.

Atyrau Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the west of the region.

Abai Region – at night, snow, blowing snow, and icy conditions expected in the west, north, and central areas; during the day, precipitation (rain, snow), blowing snow, and icy conditions in the north, east, and center. Southern and southwesterly wind 15–20 m/s, with gusts of 25 m/s in the daytime. In Semey, snow and blowing snow are expected. Wind 15–20 m/s.

East Kazakhstan Region – snow, blowing snow, and icy conditions expected in the west, north, and east. Southeasterly and southern wind 15–20 m/s, with gusts up to 23 m/s in the daytime. In Ust-Kamenogorsk, snow and blowing snow are expected.

Zhambyl Region – fog expected in the west, south, and mountainous areas. Northeasterly wind, in the mountains 15–20 m/s. In Taraz, fog expected at times.

Pavlodar Region – precipitation (rain, snow) expected; in the west and south, blowing snow. Icy conditions. Southwesterly wind 15–20 m/s. In Pavlodar, icy conditions expected.

Kostanay Region – precipitation (rain, snow), blowing snow, icy conditions expected in the west, north, and east. Fog in the north and east at night and in the morning. Southwesterly wind 15–20 m/s. In Kostanay, precipitation (rain, snow), blowing snow, and icy conditions expected.

Akmola Region – snow at night, precipitation (rain, snow) during the day. Blowing snow and icy conditions. Southwesterly wind 15–20 m/s, with 23–28 m/s in the north and east during the day. In Kokshetau, icy conditions expected.

Karaganda Region – at night, snow, blowing snow, and icy conditions expected in the north and east; during the day, light precipitation (rain, snow), blowing snow, and icy conditions in the north. Southwesterly wind 9–14 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s. In Karaganda, wind gusts 15–20 m/s.
