Fog and strong winds: Storm warning issued for almost the entire country

Tengrinews.kz – Meteorologists have warned residents of 17 regions and Astana about adverse weather conditions on February 7.

Astana – Northeastern wind, gusts of 15-18 m/s expected.

Ulytau Region – Northeastern and eastern winds, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the north of the region during the day.

Kyzylorda Region – Northern wind persists, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the north and central parts of the region.

Zhetysu Region – Northeastern wind, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the Alakol Lakes area.

Karaganda Region – Blowing snow expected in the west and north of the region. Fog expected in the east and south during the night and morning. Northeastern wind with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the west and north.

Mangystau Region – Northeastern wind, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the west and northeast of the region.

Almaty Region – Ice formation expected on roads in the south and mountainous areas.

Aktobe Region – Blowing snow will persist in the north and central parts. Northeastern wind, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the north, south, and center, reaching 23-28 m/s at times in the Mugodzhar district.

West Kazakhstan Region – Eastern and northeastern winds, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the west, south, and east of the region during the day.

Atyrau Region – Eastern and northeastern winds, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the north, east, and south of the region.

Kostanay Region – Fog expected in the north and east. Northeastern wind with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the south.

Turkestan Region – Fog expected in the south at night and in the morning. Eastern wind with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the north and mountainous areas.

Akmola Region – Fog expected in the north and east. Northeastern wind, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the west, south, and east.

Abai Region – Fog expected in the south and center. Northeastern and northern winds, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in the southwest and south.
