Fog and drifting snow: Astana weather forecast from February 4 to 6

Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet has released the weather forecast for Astana for the next three days, from February 4 to 6.

February 4: Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Fog is expected at night and in the morning. Icy conditions on the roads. Southeast wind at 3–8 m/s. Air temperature will be -12 to -14°C at night and -2 to -4°C during the day.

February 5: Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Northeastern wind at 9–14 m/s. Air temperature will be -11 to -13°C at night and -6 to -8°C during the day.

February 6: Partly cloudy with light snow and drifting snow. Northeastern wind at 9–14 m/s. Air temperature will be -16 to -18°C at night and -9 to -11°C during the day.

Earlier, forecasters clarified the weather forecast for winter 2024/2025 in Kazakhstan. It is noted that in general, the winter temperature regime is expected to be within the climatic norm with precipitation exceeding the long-term norm. However, periods with cessation of precipitation and abnormally low air temperatures are not excluded.
