Tengrinews.kz - The CTS transport company showed what one of the LRT stations will look like.
Inside the 101 station, located along Kabanbay Batyr Avenue in the area of Astana International Airport, there are escalators and interactive screens showing footage of the capital.
The building is well lit due to the large number of windows. There are elevators inside, which passengers can use to go up to get on the train or go down to go out into the city.
According to CTS, the facade work at station №101 is 100% complete.
It should be noted that the LRT line includes a total of 18 stations with multi-level halls and platforms, which are divided into two types: ground (11 stations) and above-ground (7 stations).
In 2025, it is planned to fully complete the construction of all stations, including the installation of facades, construction of overpasses, interior decoration, and improvement of adjacent territories.
Earlier, it became known what the LRT cars in Astana will look like. In the Chinese city of Tangshan, they began assembling the first carriages for the Astana LRT. They are manufacturing 19 modern driverless trains there.
