Fire danger and fog: storm warning issued in 16 regions

Tengrinews.kz – A storm warning has been issued for 16 regions of Kazakhstan. In the north, several road sections have been closed due to dense fog, Kazhydromet reports.

Shymkent – extreme fire danger remains.

Mangystau Region – high fire danger persists. In Aktau, the risk also remains high.

Aktobe Region – high fire danger will persist in the south and east, while in the west, northeast, and central parts of the region, extreme fire danger will continue.

Atyrau Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the west, north, and central areas. In the south and east, extreme fire danger persists; in the northeast and southeast – high fire danger. In Atyrau, fog expected at night and in the morning; extreme fire danger remains.

Abai Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the north; high fire danger remains in the south.

Akmola Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the north and east. In the southwest, high fire danger persists. In Kokshetau, fog expected in the morning.

Kyzylorda Region – extreme fire danger remains; in the north and center, the risk is high. In Kyzylorda, high fire danger persists.

Ulytau Region – high fire danger persists; in the south, extreme fire danger remains. In Zhezkazgan, high fire danger continues.

Karaganda Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the east.

East Kazakhstan Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the north.

Pavlodar Region – fog expected in the west, north, and east. In Pavlodar, fog expected.

West Kazakhstan Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the west, north, and east. Southeast wind in the north and east during the day with gusts of 15–20 m/s. In Uralsk, fog expected at night and in the morning; southeast wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s during the day.

Zhambyl Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in mountainous areas. Northeast wind in the northeast and mountains with gusts of 15–20 m/s during the day. Extreme fire danger remains in the west and north, high fire danger in the center.

North Kazakhstan Region – fog expected in the north and east. In Petropavlovsk, fog expected at night and in the morning.

Kostanay Region – fog expected at night and in the morning in the north and east. Extreme fire danger remains in the south, high fire danger in the southwest.

Zhetysu Region – southeast wind in the Alakol Lakes area with gusts of 15–20 m/s during the day. Frosts of –1 to –3°C expected at night in the north and center. In Taldykorgan, frosts of –1 to –3°C expected at night.

Turkestan Region – extreme fire danger remains. In Turkistan, extreme fire danger continues.
