Tengrinews.kz - The father of Erbayan Mukhtar, a conscript soldier who suffered a head injury while on duty, shared his son's condition at a press conference.
According to him, Erbayan has been experiencing seizures over the past two days.
"They say this is a common occurrence for someone in a lying position, as he is. I asked why this happens, and the professor explained that after such an injury, it happens not just to your child, but to anyone with similar injuries. However, it will pass if he receives timely treatment, including medication and injections. His condition is not bad, but after yesterday’s seizures, I, as a father, have prohibited everyone - my wife, daughter, and the therapist conducting physical therapy - from posting his photos. I believe that people can be very different, and many are following his condition. Some are sensitive to the evil eye, so we think it’s best to keep it private," said Aimagambetov.
He promised to show his son to the public after treatment in Germany.
"I ask for understanding from those who wonder why we don’t update everyone on his condition daily: what difference does it make? When someone sees him for the first time, they might say, ‘Oh, he’s recovering already.’ But that can affect the child, so I am against having him photographed or filmed right now. I don’t want to showcase him. His condition is improving, and he has a little sister, who is three years old. He can play with her and express his thoughts. We play 'su-li-fa' in the evenings, and we communicate using gestures and eye contact. We just want to be together," added the soldier's father.
Earlier, Erbayan’s mother, Gulsum Kamiyeva, discussed plans for her son's treatment. The National Guard's press service announced that an investigation is underway regarding the circumstances of Erbayan Mukhtar’s injury.
Erbayan Mukhtar was hospitalized in December 2023 and underwent five unsuccessful surgeries. His parents were informed that he had fallen in the restroom and hit his head on the tiles.
