Doctors fought for the life of the 32-year-old man, who was injured the most, for three days, but could not save him. A special commission is now determining who is to blame for the tragedy and whether it could have been prevented. A criminal case has been opened and urgent inspections have been ordered.

“By order of the Labor Inspection Department, a commission has been set up that will review and provide a legal assessment of this workplace accident. The circumstances and causes of the incident will also be established,” said Bekzhan Abdi, head of the regional office of the State Labor Inspection Committee in Zhambyl Region.
