Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Ankara on Monday, July 28, for an official visit, citing Akorda.
He was welcomed at Ankara Esenboga Airport by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up at the aircraft to greet the Kazakh leader.

During the visit, the two heads of state are expected to hold talks aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
Tokayev and Erdoğan will also co-chair the fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries.
As a reminder, Kazakhstan recently expanded its visa-free regime with Turkey. Turkish citizens can now stay in Kazakhstan without a visa for up to 90 days. The changes were introduced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan through amendments to a government resolution.
