Tengrinews.kz — Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit, citing the Akorda.
The press service of the President of Kazakhstan released footage showing the arrival of the Turkish leader's aircraft.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Kazakhstan accompanied by his wife. At the airport, the Turkish President was met by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The Kazakh delegation welcoming the foreign guest included Roman Sklyar, Head of the Presidential Administration, and Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev.
He was greeted at the airport by a ceremonial guard of honor and schoolchildren waving the flags of Turkey and Kazakhstan.

Notably, Kazakh and Turkish flags have been displayed throughout the capital and along its main avenues. President Erdogan’s visit is expected to include official meetings and high-level negotiations.

As previously reported, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is visiting Astana on May 13-14 at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The heads of state will discuss the current status and development prospects of bilateral relations.
Tokayev and Erdogan are also scheduled to hold the sixth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
An informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Turkestan on May 15. The summit's theme is "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development."
