Tengrinews.kz — What dollar exchange rate was set in trading in Kazakhstan on December 26.
Based on the results of the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average dollar rate amounted to 504.60 tenge, having decreased by 7.44 tenge. It should be noted that the official National Bank rate for December 26 is 512.81 tenge per dollar.
Recall that on December 4, following the daytime trading on KASE, the dollar rate stood at 499.65 tenge. Thus, the rate fell below the “psychological mark” of 500 tenge per dollar, which is considered an important threshold for the market. On December 23, the weighted average dollar rate was 510.18 tenge, down 4.98 tenge.
According to kurs.kz, at the moment the average dollar rate in exchange offices in Astana and Almaty is:

- buying – 501.45 tenge (at one point, the buying rate dropped below 500 tenge);
- selling – 506.37 tenge.
