Dollar-to-tenge exchange rate on April 7
As of 11:00 a.m., exchange offices in Astana were selling the dollar at an average of 464 tenge and buying it at 457 tenge. In Almaty, the U.S. currency was selling for 460 tenge and being bought at an average of 457 tenge.
It should be noted that on April 6, following daytime trading on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average exchange rate of the dollar stood at 466.33 tenge, down by 4.07 tenge.
That day, exchange offices in Astana were selling the dollar at an average of 470 tenge and buying it at 463 tenge. In Almaty, the average selling rate was 465.22 tenge, while the average buying rate was 462.76 tenge.
