The weighted average exchange rate of the U.S. dollar stood at 517.84 tenge following the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), marking a decline of 4.35 tenge. The official exchange rate set by the National Bank for January 24 is 522.42 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, the average exchange rate in Almaty exchange offices is currently 519.32 tenge for buying and 522.20 tenge for selling. In Astana, the dollar is being bought at an average of 518.17 tenge and sold for 522.71 tenge.

Earlier, the dollar exchange rate in Kazakhstan saw a sharp decline.
