Tengrinews.kz - The dollar exchange rate set during trading in Kazakhstan on August 19.

Following the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average dollar rate stood at 538.57 tenge, down by 1.27 tenge. The official rate set by the National Bank for August 19 is 540.00 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, as of now, the average dollar buying rate in Almaty’s exchange offices is 538.77 tenge, while the selling rate is 540.60 tenge. In Astana, the U.S. currency is being bought at an average of 536.54 tenge and sold at 543.54 tenge.

Earlier, analysts issued a forecast for the dollar exchange rate in September.
