Dollar-to-tenge exchange rate on April 6
As of 11:20 a.m., the dollar was being sold at exchange offices in Astana for an average of 471 tenge and bought for 464 tenge. In Almaty, the selling rate for the U.S. currency stood at 467 tenge, while the average buying rate was also 464 tenge.
It should be noted that on April 3, following daytime trading on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average dollar exchange rate was 470.46 tenge, down by 1.96 tenge.
That day, exchange offices in Astana were selling the dollar for an average of 474 tenge and buying it for 467 tenge. In Almaty, the average selling rate was 471.21 tenge, while the buying rate was 468.55 tenge.
