Tengrinews.kz – Forecasters have issued a storm warning for 30 January in 15 regions of the country, as well as in Astana and Shymkent, due to fog and blowing snow, according to Kazhydromet.

Zhetysu Region – Fog expected in the north, east, central, and mountainous areas of the region. Northeasterly wind in the area of the Alakol lakes, with gusts of 15–20, at times 23–28 meters per second. Taldykorgan – Fog expected at night and in the morning.
Mangystau Region – Ice and fog expected in the northeast and central parts of the region. Southeasterly wind at night in the west, south, and center of the region with gusts of 15–20 meters per second.
Aktobe Region – In the morning and during the day, fog expected in the south, east, and center of the region. On 30 January, throughout the day, blowing snow is expected in the central part of the region. Southeasterly wind in the central area with gusts of 15–20 meters per second.
Atyrau Region – Fog expected in the west and north of the region.
Karaganda Region – Fog expected in the west, north, and east of the region. Karaganda – Periods of fog expected.

Northeasterly wind in the southwest, northeast, and mountainous areas of the region at 15–20 meters per second, with gusts up to 25 meters per second. Taraz – Periods of fog and ice expected.
North Kazakhstan Region – During the day in the west and north of the region, light snow and blowing snow are expected. Fog expected in the south.
