Balghazy Serikbayev, director of the company Redmaya, stated that their organization had no involvement in the incident. He emphasized that their staff was not responsible for the shooting of the animals.

"When I saw this video, I was very upset. Who is trying to set me up and give the impression that my employees did it. Recently there was a case among dog breeders in the city: one of the volunteers, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, closed all the enclosures, and the dogs sitting on the chain died. At the same time, dead dogs were found in the suburbs. Maybe these events are connected. Our employees don't do that. We have a special cremation oven, and we only put sick animals to sleep," Balgazy Serikbayev said.

Serikbayev also noted that, upon instruction from the city administration, the dead dogs were removed from the site and cremated.
