Cyclone won’t help: 44-degree heat to scorch Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for July 1, 2, and 3.

Another cyclone approaching Kazakhstan

Weather conditions in most regions of Kazakhstan in the coming days will be influenced by a cyclone and frontal zones. According to the forecast, heavy rains, sometimes with hail, are expected in the western and eastern regions on July 1, and in the northwest on July 3. Other regions may experience short-term rain showers with thunderstorms.

Dry weather will mostly persist in the central, southern, and southeastern parts of the country.

Abnormal heat

In the coming days, temperatures in southeastern Kazakhstan will rise to +35…+39°C. In the central regions, on July 2 and 3, air temperatures will reach +35…+38°C, and in the south – up to +40…+44°C. On July 3, the north will also see heat reaching +30…+35°C.

Additionally, strong winds with dust storms are expected in some parts of western and southern Kazakhstan.
