Tengrinews.kz - Meteorologists have issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan for January 11, 12, and 13.

According to the forecast, snow and blizzards in the northeast and east of the country are expected due to an approaching cyclone. Dry weather is expected in other regions, sustained by high atmospheric pressure. On January 13, a new wave of the cyclone will reach the western regions, bringing wet snow, rain, and icy conditions. Fog and strong winds are likely across the country.

"Nighttime temperatures in northern Kazakhstan will drop to -8°C to -18°C, while in the east they could reach as low as -27°C. No significant temperature changes are expected in other parts of the country," the statement read.

Previously, meteorologists shared the expected weather conditions for January in Kazakhstan.
